Greens Receives NORI Award
(ALBANY, NY) Time Warner Cable and BrawnMedia was bestowed a NORI award on Friday, May 7 during the Ad Club gala ceremony held at the Crowne Plaza. The Ad Club honors outstanding achievement in advertising and communication, recognizing members who excel at their craft.
This year’s entry, “Tiger”, created and produced by Time Warner Cable Advertising and BrawnMedia for
Saratoga Custom Putting Greens, received the NORI in the single spot category of Television Consumer Products/Retail.

Saratoga Custom Putting Green recently completed a practice green at the newly renovated show room located at Northway 8 Golf Center in Clifton Park, NY. The Hoffman’s were interested in building a putting green that would aid as a teaching area for both Putting and the short Chipping game. This green is one of a kind in the capital region and has been a huge attraction for the Premier Golf Store in the Capital Region. Scott Hoffman and SCPG designed the green with a sand trap surrounded by fairway turf to allow the customer to experience the feel of a PGA green right in the showroom. Green and Driving Range turf for the Annual Quality of Life Expo, held at the Glens Falls Civic Center on Saturday, May

The staff from Saratoga Custom Putting Greens
recently attended the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce business show and
it was a great success! The Saratogian newspaper wrote an article about the
show. Here is an excerpt from the article:
"Don't be shocked to see carpets of
green synthetic material popping up around the area next spring,"
Jeff Gordon said. One of the biggest hits at Thursday's Business Showcase at
the Saratoga City Center was the display by Saratoga Custom Putting Greens.
Gordon is the Sales and Marketing Director for the company that sells and
builds putting greens for homes and businesses across the United Sates and
Canada. "We are the backyard wave of the future,"
Gordon boasted, as visitors and other exhibitors tested their skills on the
green in the corner of the City Center's ballroom.

has WON the "Best Landscape Design" for the 2002 Capital Region
PARADE OF HOMES SHOW! Saratoga
Custom Putting Greens installed a 300 sq. ft. Mirage synthetic putting
green, and the judges had a putting contest that only B H Group could win.
Frank Barberra, owner of B H Group, was quoted as saying, "this award was entirely because of the green if you consider we
have no lawn".
